GC Thecathut Obsession of Koontucky was a brown classic tabby female Maine Coon born on January 20, 1992.

"Zoom" had a very successful show career. She is a Grand Champion in TICA, CFA and ACFA. I have been told she was the first Maine Coon female to earn a Grand Championship in all three associations.

Her first litter resulted in the start of the "Marvelous" line. Okay...so I need a life!!!! RW QGC Koontucky Hot Brown was also in this litter.

She went on to produce many champions, both in the show ring and in people's hearts.

"The Original Marv"

GC Koontucky Simply Marvelous was a brown mackerel tabby female Maine Coon born on September 25, 1993.

Marv was shown exclusively in TICA.

At the time everyone was saying "Simply Marvelous Darling" And when she was born that was the first thing that popped into my mind!

All of her descendants that have grown up here at Koontucky have the word Marv somewhere in their name. Our boy Vram is a six generation Marv. His name is ... Marv spelled backwards.

The "Marv" line is known for exceptional type and goofy personalities. Does this picture tell you anything... :-)

GC Koontucky Tapestry & RW SGC Koontucky Just As Marvelous.

Tapestry was a blue mackerel torbie female and Tank was a blue mackerel tabby male. The littermates were born on August 5, 1995.

Of course they are out of GC Koontucky Simply Marvelous. Also in the litter was GC Koontucky Hoosier Blue Bandit.

GC Koontucky Marvelicious was a blue silver mackerel tabby with white female Maine Coon born on July 26, 1997.

Marv was a 14-pound lap cat that loved to hang out with "HER HUMANS" (when she wasn't busy patrolling the kitchen counters). She was adamant about "protecting her territory" and would not allow any of the adult cats on the counters. Only the kittens were welcome. We lovingly refered to Marv and the kittens as the "Rat Pack" which Marv ruled with an iron paw.

She was by RW SGC Koontucky Just As Marvelous.

Marv "Pervis" to those who loved her, lost her battle to mammary cancer in April of 2011. We love you Marv!

RW SGC Koontucky MacMarvelous of Kellycat was a blue silver mackerel tabby male Maine Coon born on July 26, 1997.

Mac was by RW SGC Koontucky Just As Marvelous. GC Koontucky Marvelicious was also in this litter.

Mac sired some very nice "Marvelous's" of his own. In addition to his kittens pictured below, he is the sire of IW SGC Lunarcoons Ganymede. Who was TICA International Best Maine Coon Kitten of the Year for the 1999-2000 season.

DGC Koontucky Blu Marvrix of Johnsbay was a blue silver mackerel tabby with white female Maine Coon born on October 5, 1998.

She was by RW SGC Koontucky MacMarvelous.

The most obvious thing about Blu is her eye color! But once you look past that, you will see her excellent type. She has a carbon copy sister (with green/gold eyes) Koontucky Tilly. Both girls have produced wonderful babies in true "Marv" fashion!

DGC Koontucky Marvelique was a blue classic tabby female Maine Coon born on April 14, 1999.

Eeky as she was better known, was the perpetual clown, a true Marv in every sense. She was out of CH Koontucky Marvelicious and by RW SGC Coonceit Majerle of Koontucky, OS She was part of the famous "Rat Pack".
